  5. This version of True Paint works like the full version
  6. except:
  7.  
  8. * there are no facilities to Save files, Palettes, Fill Patterns or Setups
  9. * there are no animation facilities
  10. * you can only load JPEG (JPG) and TPI (True Paint Image) files whereas the
  11.   full versions supports many file formats - see the File Formats item on
  12.   the File menu for the currently supported formats. These are disk loaded
  13.   so that the full version gives you more free RAM than this version.
  14. * you are reminded that you are using the demo version every so often.

  17. Note that importing JPEG files is much slower than importing other
  18. file formats because of the high degree of compression involved.
  19. It is also very memory intensive; particularly for large images.
  20. Loading and Saving True Paint Image files is very quick.
  21.  
  22. Note also that use of Bezier Curves requires Font, FSM or Speedo GDOS.

  24. If you have purchased this on disk directly from HiSoft you can
  25. return the labelled demo disk for a £5 credit towards the purchase
  26. price of £39-95 inc (U.K).

  29. Note that this demonstration version is freely distributable but
  30. that naturally the rebate is not applicable if you haven't purchased it.

  32. TruePaint costs £39-95 inc VAT in the EC and £36 outside the EC.
